Mental Alertness and Discipline

In 1 Peter 1:13 Peter advises us to be sober.  This call to sobriety involves moral and mental alertness. As Christians we should not live our daily lives in self-indulgence but in self-control and discipline.  Our lives should be marked by sobriety.
