I love this book. This is a simple story illustrating the importance of honoring themselves with purity. It is very simple yet illustrates a princess (our daughters) who realizes how precious her choice of purity is and making sure she doesn't just let anyone who comes along diminish that gift. This is a great book for parents that want to talk to their daughters about their choice to honor their bodies and not follow the what society says is normal.

The girls and I are reading The Princess and the Kiss by Jennie Bishop. It is a story of God's gift of Purity. We are also using the life lessons from the Princess and the Kiss by Jennie Bishop and Susan Henson.
We did the first lesson today which focused on Gods love for us. On the surface that seems obvious enough, but when you really think about it, what is the motivating factor for the majority of the things we do?  

It is either because we love someone or we want to be loved.

To stop and grasp the fact that The creator of the universe loves me sooooo much that he has carved my name in his hand (Isaiah 49:16a) is both amazing and comforting.
What a God we serve !!!!!
